HLAA-WA Hospital Communication Kits

If you are hard of hearing and going into the hospital for treatment, it’s important to be a prepared patient. You can make things much easier for yourself if everyone you come in contact with knows two things:

  1. That you are hard of hearing
  2. How best to communicate with you

Use a hospital kit to let them know how to take care of you.

You can now print out the parts of the hospital kit that will alert the hospital personnel to your needs.
