Glasses that display captions in real-time were a pretty big deal at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this month.
These glasses aren’t inexpensive, starting at a few hundred dollars each pair. But they might just be the next best thing in hearing tech, according to Shari Eberts, who attended CES and filed this report.
If you’d like to find out more about this new tech, our board member Carolyn Odio is hosting a virtual and in-person meeting to talk about caption glasses on February 8, 2025, 9-9:45 am in the Quinault Auditorium at Panorama Senior Living in Lacey. For more info, contact Carolyn at codio@hearingloss-wa.org.
Meanwhile, here’s a list of glasses to check out. As always, let us know if you try these and how they work for you.
