Summer 2026 Entertainment
Village Theater Issaquah and Everett
Village Theaters in Issaquah and Everett have announced their 2025-2026 season.
- We Ain’t Ever Gonna Break Up: The Hymon and Parfunkel Musical
Issaquah: May 19 – June 21, 2026
Everett: June 27 – July 19, 2026, ASL on July 11 at 2 pm, open captions July 18 at 2 pm
Hearing access: Both the Issaquah and Everett theaters are equipped with hearing loop systems that are compatible with telecoil-enabled hearing aids and cochlear implants. Updated headsets are also available for those without compatible hearing aids, and these are available free of charge for use during the performance. Bring personal identification and see the house manager upon arrival.

Museum of History and Industry
History fans can catch many events at Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) with ASL and CART captioning.

Seattle Rep

Hearing access: Seattle Rep has hearing loops in the Bagley Wright Theater, Leo K Theater, PONCHO Forum, ticket windows, concierge, and concessions. Captions, ASL interpretation, and audio descriptions are also available for some performances.
Town Hall Seattle
The city’s hub for civic discourse, Town Hall Seattle offers live and livestreamed events covering a host of topics. With help from their knowledgeable staff, we also host some meetings in Town Hall’s hearing-friendly spaces.

Federal Way Performing Arts Center
The FWPAEC hosts musical and other events year-round, including the Federal Way Symphony.

Lincoln Theatre, Mount Vernon
Mount Vernon’s Lincoln Theater is a restored vaudeville and silent movie house. Built in 1926, the Lincoln now hosts films, concerts, educational programs, and community events.
Hearing access: A hearing loop is available throughout the venue. Closed captioning goosenecks are available for some films.
Jewel Box Theater, Poulsbo
The Jewel Box offers not just live theater, but author talks, improv, music such as the Amiable Choir and the Seattle Rock Orchestra, and more.
Hearing access: A hearing loop is available.
Bainbridge Performing Arts, Bainbridge Island
Bainbridge Performing Arts provides a variety of performances and programs, including theater school, improv, live music, musicals, plays, and the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra.
Free and reduced-cost tickets are available through their Open Doors program.

Open-Caption Movies: Join the Club
To find open-caption movies in your area, join the Open Caption Movie Club. Provide your ZIP code, and they’ll send you a weekly list. It’s free and open to everyone.
The Grand Cinema, Tacoma
The Grand Cinema in Tacoma features independent, international, and local film. This nonprofit theater has only two paid staff — the rest are volunteers. Check them out on OC Sundays/Wednesdays.
Hearing access: Amplified headsets, neckloops, closed caption units for all shows, and OCs on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF)
In addition to its annual festival, the Seattle International Film Festival shows movies throughout the year at four venues: SIFF Cinema Egyptian, SIFF Cinema Uptown, SIFF Cinema Downton (the old Cinerama), and the SIFF Film Center.
Hearing access: Open captions are available for all Tuesday and Sunday showtimes. Closed captioning and descriptive listening devices are available at all SIFF venues, but availability varies per film. Assistive listening devices are also available when captioning isn’t offered; ask the venue manager for a device.
